Mav's fave
Z-Stitch® Grunterz – Ronny the Black Rhino
Mav chooses Rhiney over all his other toys. He loves the grunts it makes and will do it himself routinely. The grunt is great but I’m still searching for more soft toys that make real sounds such as a cow that moos, a sheep that baas, etc. Mav also has chewed off the ears but hasn’t popped its grunter. Very happy about that! Mav is a 50lb 12.5yo Border Collie who has learned to love soft toys and prefers them as well.
Tougher toy but not the toughest
Z-Stitch® Grunterz – Ronny the Black Rhino
This toy was MUCH larger than expected. This toy is heavy compared to other plush toys. It’s also bulky. It has a shape but the z stitching seems don’t give it much definition. Probably to prevent dogs from chewing off extremities. It definitely feels sturdier than your traditional toy. My medium sized 40 pound puppy was scared of it at first. She was also scared of the deep grunting noise as opposed to your normal squeak. Now she loves this toy but within 24 hours, she chewed the plaid ear off. Photo is prior to her playing with it. Just the initial scared meeting. I wish the ears had been made of the same quality as the rest of the toy, not just pieces of plaid fabric. It’s a shame that even this “tough” toy couldn’t withstand my puppy chewing on the ear. A few days later, the fur on the rhino is showing signs of being chewed on but it’s in tact and I’m hoping it stays like that for a while.
