To think I debated on this purchase because of its size for my small dog. He loves this toy even if it is longer than all of him. Lol. This toy generates the most engagement between him and I. I get to be creative because of the length, 7 squeak toys with color placement, and arms allow for Tug-A-War jumping, he likes to be wrapped up in it and we do this music scale and color play with each section. My dog is a rescue so it’s been such a guessing game but I love that this toy makes him smile literally.

Cody loves his Caterpillar toys. He goes through 1 a month. They are well made and very squeaky. The neighbors all come over to play with him and he gets a lot of play time with them.

This is by far the best toy ever. Doc loves it with his whole heart. He is gentle with it and makes it last for a while. Zippy Paws had to send a replacement and they did it with such ease and it got here quick. We hadn’t even given it to him yet but he knew what it was haha. It is the ONLY toy he plays with and is lost without it. He has to know where it is at all times or he will go on the hunt. I can tell him go get your caterpillar and he goes straight to it every time. Thank you Zippy Paws for having the number one toy in our life.

Bought it because it’s so cute and my dog loves it. Unfortunately, he was able to chew up four of the seven squeakers in barely two months. Would give five stars if it would have lasted longer.

I got the caterpillar toy for my pups with the intention of getting a toy they could play with at the same time and tug. Two of my pups especially, Golden/Jindo mixes, love to play fight over the same toy, and this larger toys allows them both to play together which each having something to squeak. The caterpillar has held up surprisingly well considering how much it’s been through being chewed on, pulled, tossed, and dragged around the house. With a quick wash, it looks brand new! We love the different kinds of toys that Zippy Paws offers, and this one is definitely a favorite in our pack.

I really really dislike you guys. Leave it to you to develop the ONE toy my dog has not shredded, ripped up, disemboweled or otherwise destroyed – and OF COURSE it happens to be the only toy made with 6 SEPARATE SQUEAKERS!!!!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE???? Do you ENJOY torturing us super chewer dog owners? That’s just MEAN!!! That being said, I am ordering 2-3 more of them today, for Chance (my good boy 2year old rescue – Hound mix with Rotti and Black Lab) and to give this give of ANNOYING MUSIC to my friends and fellow (soon to be) sufferers.
In all seriousness, my sister gave this to Chance at Christmas. I am very careful as to the toys i give Chance, because he will just sit there chewing and chewing until he rips the ball and or squeaker and stuffing out of it. (sometimes digesting some of it when i cant catch him in the act). I was very leery about giving Chance this caterpillar because on initial inspection, it simply felt too lightweight and non-durable than what I usually get that he destroys eventually (weeks instead of minutes). But he found the bag i had it in and before I knew it, it was HIS, and soon became one of his favorite toys. Well, here we are, just about 6 months later, and while the antennae are now nubs, and the legs are noticeably…. stubbier, the toy as a whole has held up better than I could have ever imagined. Squeakers all work, and he hasn’t destroyed it at all. Honestly I attribute it to the segmented design and the multiple squeaker sections. He doesn’t concentrate his efforts in one place. Plus this allows him the added bonus of whipping it around, and MOST OFTEN, he brings me the Caterpillar to squeak with him and we have fun making all kinds of different squeaky songs together. This toy is the LONGEST LASTING toy that Chance has ever owned. Yes he has others that have lasted, but not ones he loves and plays with every single day. This is the only one that has held up. Great job! Please please please let me know if you have other similar toys to this, or at the very least, please design more like this – snake, lizard, a worm (think Oscar the Grouch’s pet worm Slimy for the look and the colors) I promise you, they will do well. In conclusion, I was clearly wrong with my initial opinion. This product is durable for super chewers, long lasting, and honestly, one of the best products Ive had the pleasure of giving my pup Chance. Thank you! -Brian A. from New Jersey.

I hae been through 3 f these caterpillars with my doxie clan and started to worry what would I do when they were finished. They look pretty funny trotting around with this long caterpillar but they all really love it and want their turn. I just ordered 6 of them for Christmas

My 140lb South African Mastiff absolutely loved her caterpillar!! It lasted a long time. Even after she ripped it in half she kept playing with the halves and they really held up!!

My Lab, Hans, is the master destroyer of chew toys, and he makes fast work of it. He has shredded in minutes toys with descriptors like “chew guard” and “chew armor.” He has now had this caterpillar for five days, and it is completely intact, except for the legs and antennae. Not only that, he absolutely loves it! He carries it around everywhere, shakes it with great vigor, squeaks all the squeakers, and then he falls asleep with his head pillowed on it. It’s the best toy he’s ever had! I’ll be ordering more once they’re back in stock, because I know he’ll eventually get the better of it. Thanks, Zippypaws, for the best toy ever!
