I wasn’t sure if my French bulldog could get her flat face in those small holes but she did. She had so much of a blast and I had so much fun watching her that I didn’t have a chance even to get a picture.

Only for Dogs with No Teeth!

The toy will not stand up to dogs that chew. Our Eskie played with the squeaky squirrels for a while but it was less than a day before one was beheaded and no longer than a day or two later the others were. We put his toy balls in it to see if that would work but he has now dismembered the log! Don’t waste money on this if you have a dog with teeth.

Both of my dogs love this toy! They both need puzzles to keep them busy so this was a great plush and non food driven alternative. They haven’t destroyed it either.

Love this burrow toy! The log design is much more fun than the other burrow toys. We also add in more critters and our dog has a blast! The chipmunks are not as durable as other reviews mentioned. For our dog, it’s normal that our she chews through plush toys so it’s not a deal breaker…

Perfect toy for a smaller dog

I bought this for my dog that doesn’t really play with toys. He will chew on a bone every once and a while. He LOVES this thing. I even put new squeakers in them and stitch them up. I 10/10 recommend!!

It’s hard to decide how many stars to give this. My dog loves it, keeps her entertained in the house. But the squirrels are so poorly made. One didn’t even last the first afternoon we had it. She’s not even that aggressive of a chewer. I’ll stuff it with other toys. But for the price it should be a bit more durable.

My dogs love these chipmunks

Last year I saw this set at a store in Venice, CA and couldn’t resist buying it for my 2 young, active dogs. This set came with 6 chipmunks (or maybe I bought 3 extras). They carry them around, play with them and fall asleep with them. They are still is good shape after all this time. The tree abode did not do as well, but it gets carried around as well.

Product poorly made!! Pup had to be supervised with it!! Chipmunks didn’t last more than a week!! Trunk is good for hiding other toys and treats in!! Was super excited about this purchased as I was hoping for hours of playtime, unfortunately this was not the case!

Great for wrestling with puppy

Our labradoodle puppy always wanted to wrestle, so I put my hand inside a puppet and wrestled with her. The idea was NOT to get my hand all scratched up. The puppet was a hit for her, but offered no protection for my arm. I saw this log toy and thought: this has lots of padding to protect my arm and a whole to put my arm into. It quickly became the best toy for wearing her out with a rough wrestle session; but also her favorite toy to cuddle with when she’s tired. Not only this, she loves squeaking the squirrels, and sticking her head in to pull them out. Sometimes we put plastic bottles or other toys inside to give her other things to stimulate her curiosity. Really worth the money in many different ways. And, it is something she won’t outgrow.
