Super cute toy and I had high hopes ,but it took about 5 minutes for my 6 months old whippet, to chew a piece off of it 🙁
Maybe it’s suitable for puppies only, with baby teeth.

We have a 10 year old Boston Terrier who has been chewing on these since he was about 4. He doesn’t swallow the pieces. He is very aggressive and the bunny is his favorite. We have about 8 bunnies in various stages of destruction and after buying several elephants, hunted down more bunnies! He prefers this type of rubber and between these and the JW super hard white bones, he hasn’t had to have his teeth cleaned. Our vet can’t believe it. So glad we can still find these. We have them stocked and clean the old ones often. Compared to other toys, these are easy to disinfect and he can hold onto the rope to chew on the rest of the teether. Not sure how we ended up with a pup that knows not to eat it. My Mom’s dog eats everything. This is not a toy for those dogs. In my opinion, it’s for dogs that like to work at things like a Kong. That’s how our boy goes at it…like he is working to take it apart. Similar to his JW bones.
Definitely not for the tough chewer

My 15 lb pup chewed off the ears like the other reviews stated. She then vomited the pieces up that evening. Just grateful it didn’t become a foreign body surgery. Not for the tough chewer by any means

My girl, 6 months German Shepherd, was able to eat the ears off this toy quite quickly The feet and tail here no match either. The rope ends were easily destroyed as well. I wouldn’t recommend this item for anyone who has an aggressive chewer.
Not tough at all

I bought this toy this week and my 4 1/2 month old puppy loves it. I, however, cannot love it because she was able to tear through the ears in about 30 minutes of playing. It is not durable or tough as advertised, and I do not trust that she won’t eat chunks of the material. It may be safe, but it is not as advertised, and I’d much rather spend money on a toy that is durable and also safe.

Within the first day, pink chunks started coming off the bunny’s ears. Concerned it could be poisonous/deadly to ingest that plastic..

Dog Toy Not Durable for 4 1/2 month puppy

I bought the Zippytuff Teether at Pet Planet on July 6,2020. My dog is 4 1/2 months old and chewed off a chunk from the bottom foot. within 30 minutes! Needless to say I was disappointed.
