ZippyClaws’ Purr-fect Weekend – A Look Back at CatCon 2025

As the resident Crazy Cat Guy of ZippyPaws, I was extremely excited when it was announced that we would be making our debut appearance at CatCon 2025 with our ZippyClaws cat toys. After launching ZippyClaws in 2023 with a colorful collection of catnip-filled creations for our cat-loving customers, we quickly got to work building out the brand with fresh new products.

Fast forward to 2025, and the ZippyClaws brand has become the cat’s meow of catnip toys, turning the heads of feline enthusiasts everywhere, and even having our ZippyClaws 6-Pack Birthday Party named the Best Cat Toy of 2024 by People Magazine. And so it was a no brainer that we should bring Southern California’s best cat toy brand to the biggest cat-centric, pop culture event in the world.

Now that ZippyClaws’ debut at CatCon 2025 is in the books, let’s take a look at some of the highlights from our inaugural “Cat-ifornia Country” themed booth. Hope you enjoy as much as we did being there!

Welcome to Cat-ifornia Country!

For our first ever CatCon, we wanted to make a great first impression by bringing our best to the convention floor. That meant curating a booth reflecting our paw-sitive SoCal vibes, and staffing it with our most knowledgable and feline-loving team members. We chose the theme “Cat-ifornia Country” to shine a spotlight on the beloved community we represent, and to showcase our catnip forward cat toys that are designed right here in California.

We brought with us an enticing assortment of ZippyClaws cat toys, including Kickerz, Catnip Crusherz, Catnip Cans, ZippySticks, Burrows, Mesh Mates, Refillablez Bushy Throws, our award-winning ZippyClaws 6-Pack Birthday Party, and so much more! Attendees also received a CatCon exclusive gift with every qualifying purchase. Our most popular items at this event? ZippySticks (and ZippyClaws toys that can be attached to them). Other favorites included Mesh Mates (that help clean teeth) and Catnip Cans.

The ZippyClaws team had a blast at CatCon – and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

ZippyPaws would also like to give a shoutout to Pasadena Humane for their record number of kitten adoptions onsite at this year’s CatCon. They found loving homes for 210 kittens at this year’s event!
