Surf’s Up, Wieners! ZippyPaws Makes Big Waves at SoCal Wienerfest

Wieners here! Wieners there! There were wieners everywhere! And our totally awesome Surf Shack team squeaked, sniffed, and ZIPPED their way through SoCal Wienerfest in true ZippyPaws style! 

On May 31, 2025, Huntington Dog Beach transformed into a happy place hangout for dachshund enthusiasts as SoCal Wienerfest 2025 took center stage. As a proud sponsor, ZippyPaws was thrilled to be part of America’s largest dachshund festival. It was a wild time!

Hangin’ Ten at the ZippyPaws Surf Shack

Our Surf Shack booth was a hub of tail-wagging activity, where we had the pleasure of meeting countless weens and their humans. We measured numerous dachshunds for life jackets, ensuring they were beach-ready, and introduced them to their new favorite toys. Attendees also enjoyed shopping exclusive ZippyPaws merchandise, available only at SoCal Wienerfest. 

Highlights from the Festivities

The festival was packed with excitement, including the popular Dachshund Derby dog races, various contests, raffles, pet adoptions, and photo opportunities for all the adorable weens in attendance.

One of the most adorable things we saw at this year’s Wienerfest was pet parents and their dogs sporting matching Hawaiian shirts. Thanks to those who stopped by to let us meet you and your pups!

Supporting a Worthy Cause

Proceeds from SoCal Wienerfest benefited the event’s rescue partners, Dachshund Rescue of Los Angeles and Dachshund and Friends Rescue. We’re honored to support these organizations in their mission to find loving homes for dachshunds in need. Thank you for all the hard work that you do for our community!
