Safety concern
NomNomz® – Taco
I have never bought anything from this website. I have neighbors that have kids that apparently threw one of their dog toys over my fence into my yard. My Malamute got very sick for a couple of days as he sometimes does because he is a rescue and had a very bad past and gets a lot of stomach upset I was trying to feed him rice with honey just to get him to eat something because this is something he has done before. Until he threw up a toy last night. I had to wait until this morning to try to pull the toy apart cuz it had been compacted down where he had swallowed it. It’s not a toy I’ve ever bought I wouldn’t buy anything of this size for this dog he’s 120 pounds Alaska Malamute. But he’s usually very good with his toys and I have never seen him swallow any toys. So I assumed his stomach upset and diarrhea was just his normal thing he goes through from time to time I will still need to rewind my cameras to see exactly who through this toy into the yard for the dog to get. But again I’ve never had him eat any of his toys and this toy was not chewed up it had been swallowed whole somehow. By the grace of God he threw it up and was actually eating this morning. I think it’s safe to say this is not a toy for large dogs. So please make sure if you have large dogs this is not a toy that you buy.
Hi Melissa,
We really appreciate you taking the time to share what happened. So sorry about Kane’s health scare, but we’re immensely relieved to know he’s eating again and on the mend!
Keeping pups safe is super important to us, which is why we list recommended dog sizes on all our products. The NomNomz – Taco is indeed designed for small and medium dogs, as smaller toys aren't quite right—and can be a swallowing hazard—for large breeds.
We’d love to make this right and help you find something safe for your boy. Please reach out to us at zippy@zippypaws.com so we can connect with you directly and help find the perfect, size-appropriate toy for your pup.
Sending lots of love to Kane as he continues to recover!

My dogs favorite toy!
NomNomz® – Taco
This taco has been my dog’s favorite toy since the day we brought her home! The squeaker is great quality, but the stitching doesn’t hold up for tug of war which is why I have to keep buying new ones.
Its Always Taco Tuesday Now
NomNomz® – Taco
I got this as a freebie with an order. My puppy loves it. All the taco filling has different layers and textures. Good for fetch or self-activated zoo it’s. When not being played with, now it doubles as a pillow. Squeaker is very good too!
Yuna loves her taco!
NomNomz® – Taco
Instantly Yuna’s new favorite toy, she has a great time carrying it around and squeaking it. I highly recommend it. It looks so adorable, I love the smiley face.
Detailed and Adorable
NomNomz® – Taco
My golden mix, Leaf, loves to hold toys in her mouth and carry them around. The taco plush toy is the perfect size for her and she loves bringing it from room to room. The details of the different colors and the little face make it extra cute for us humans seeing her play with it!
Dog refuses all other toys!
NomNomz® – Taco
We picked this taco up after a dental cleaning one day & now he refuses to even consider his other toys. It goes everywhere with him, even comes on vacation.
I used to have to tempt him to play with the bears and rabbits and moose. The taco needs zero enticement, he will grab it immediately! 10 out of 10 would recommend. * But please dont buy them all or Cooper will cry if I cant get a replacement when this one eventually dies 🤣
Let's taco about it
