I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews here. Our dogs love the Crusherz toys. We have almost a dozen of them. And I like that the bottle is replaceable inside. A few of them have last years in our multi-dog household. We haven’t had any issues with the squeaker coming out and becoming dangerous. Often the squeaker does get “killed” by our dogs, but I’m actually thankful when it happens, and they continue to love the toy without it.

My pup had the top chewed off this thing in less than 5 minutes and ate the cap! Great… here’s hoping he passes it. So many hazards with this product really and anything crunchy like this encourages a heavier chewing. Immediate regret!! Never buying zippy pass again.

Purchased this toy yesterday, my 20 lb cavalier King Charles spaniel really likes it, but unfortunately while I was making dinner he was able to open the little flap and chew the squeaker bottle cap. I reached out to Zippy paws and you can buy replacement caps for 4.99+ shipping. I’m glad I have that option but I guess I was a little disappointed in the response of “ sorry that your experience with our product has been less than satisfactory”. As the other review stated make sure you stitch the flap shut before giving it to your pet, I’ve had similar products in the past with larger dogs that did not come open that easily, I guess I should have examined the toy more closely before purchasing.

squeaker cap broke too quickly

I thought this toy would be perfect for my dog because he’s not normally a very heavy chewer, he just likes to squeeze his toys to make them squeak. When I gave him this toy, he went crazy for it. He got the velcro undone pretty quickly and started chewing on the bottle. I thought it was fine since the bottle is easy to replace. When I finally took it from him, he had destroyed the squeaker cap! I can’t find somewhere to buy new squeaker caps that look reliable so I think I’m going to have to replace it with an empty water bottle with no lid and sew the velcroed part up. If you have basic sewing skills, I would recommend stitching that part together and just undoing it if you have to replace the bottle. The squeaker caps don’t stand up to very heavy chewing.
I can’t find whatever bottle fits inside. Just about every water bottle crushes when I try to stuff it inside the sak or the threads are wrong when I tried a sturdier drink bottle. My dogs love this toy but just need to know what bottles you are using inside. The cap was not ruined in my case just need to know what drink bottles to buy so they can continue to play with it.
