We have several borrow toys. The hedgehogs seem to be Jacks favorite to pull out of the borrow toy before any of the other animals. He always brings them to me for playtime throw.

We have many little hedgehog toys scattered around the house. It’s her go-to toy to play with or carry around the house. Frequently she will grab one and carry it around during our walks outside. If we ask her where her hedgie is, she runs to grab one. She also likes the “ring of hedgies” as we call it. I think you call it Loopy. These toys bring us joy.

Joey absolutely loves these little hedgehogs! A lot of her other toys are a little too big, but these are the perfect size for her to pick up and run around with. Just ordered some replacement hedgehogs because we lost a couple around the house – not Joey’s fault!
Obsession!!

I just bought 15 more of these. Our precious little rescue, Panda, was introduced to these little hedgehogs not long after she arrived at our place. It was love and obsession at first sight. These little hedgehogs are soft and can be thrown like balls. They seem to hold up very well to constant squeaking, but if your dog chews toys, I’m not sure how they would hold up. Panda hordes them and squeaks them and hides them and brings them to us to throw. We find no less than five every morning when we make our bed. Panda also loves to pull them out of their hedgehog dens. The reason these hedgehogs have to be occasionally replaced is because they get so crusty. I’ve given the hedgehogs baths with shampoo and conditioner, but I cannot seem to remove the crustiness of the older hedgehogs, so I just covertly replace them with newer ones. Most of the squeakers have lasted the duration.

My mom’s 14 yr old Jack russell rarely plays anymore but when we get these hedgies he goes berserk! He acts like a puppy again. Only problem is the lab and Shephard mix both like to steal them and when my sisters husky puppy visits she absolutely tears them up in like 2 minutes. Strongly recommend if you have a hunting breed.
A Toy Every Dog Loves

We’ve been buying these little hedgie toys for about 15 years now. They were Cooper’s favorite toy. He would suck on them like a pacifier whenever he was happy/content. We’ve built a ‘Pet Trading Post’ in our yard which functions much like a Little Free Library but instead of books it’s filled with dog/cat food, treats, toys, sticks, tennis balls, and other accessories. Our community uses it to share goodies, but we always keep it stocked with hedgies which many dogs seem to love. We aren’t sure how Cooper would have felt about sharing his hedgies, but we know he would’ve loved a world with more hedgies in it. Thanks for helping us spread the love <3
